Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to drive guest experiences on site. You will lead by example, work alongside the team, and ensure every guest leaves impressed.

In this fast-paced environment, you’ll step into any role, coach crew members, and help train new staff while maintaining brand standards and safety. On-site leadership offers growth and skill development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing—hands-on leadership on shift.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when on-site management isn’t present.
• Cover cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and ensure a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and foster a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
