Job summary

The Five Guys restaurant in Tampa, FL is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations with hands-on leadership and a focus on guest satisfaction. You’ll step in for management, coach crew, ensure safety and brand standards, and help train new teammates while delivering fast, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team‑first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and lead by doing in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management is not on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
