Job summary

Go Greek Yogurt Georgetown is seeking a Shift Lead to guide daily operations, support team members, and uphold hospitality and product quality for guests.

You’ll lead through warm service, coach teammates, manage openings and closings, and protect standards while staying calm during busy periods. This part-time role offers $22–$25 per hour plus tips, with PTO, 401(k), training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience required.

• Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead through hospitality, set example, and ensure positive guest experiences.
• Coach and support Team Members; guide responsibilities and provide real-time feedback.
• Manage opening/closing and shift transitions; coordinate daily shift activities.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and product quality; monitor stock and replenishment needs.
• Communicate clearly with team and restaurant leadership; own the shift.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for Shift Leads who enjoy working alongside their teams, setting a positive example, and helping others succeed.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help run the day-to-day shift, support Team Members, and ensure guests receive the hospitality and product quality they expect from Go Greek Yogurt.

Great Shift Leads don’t just tell people what to do. They lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and help their teams do their best work.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead Through Hospitality

• Set the example for warm, attentive guest service.
• Support Team Members in creating consistently positive experiences.
• Handle guest concerns with care and good judgment.

2. Support and Coach Your Team

• Help Team Members understand their responsibilities and succeed in their positions.
• Provide feedback, encouragement, and real-time coaching.
• Recognize when teammates need support and step in to help.
• Coordinate daily shift activities and maintain smooth operations.
• Help manage opening, closing, and shift transitions.
• Keep the team organized and focused during busy periods.

4. Protect Quality and Standards

• Ensure products are prepared and presented consistently.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor product availability and communicate replenishment needs.

5. Communicate and Take Ownership

• Communicate clearly with Team Members and restaurant leadership.
• Identify operational issues and help resolve them.
• Take responsibility for the shift while knowing when to ask for support.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Experience guiding or supporting coworkers is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and positive during busy periods.
• A willingness to coach others and receive feedback.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Base Pay:$22–$25 per hour, based on experience, plus tips.

Tips:Eligible Shift Leads participate in our tip-sharing program. Tips vary based on business volume and are not guaranteed.
