Newk’s Eatery is seeking energetic Shift Leaders to guide our team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. If you’re passionate about hospitality, lead by example, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring service quality, managing shift duties, and supporting inventory and cash handling. All applicants should have reliable transportation and be at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of restaurant or food service experience.
• Leadership or trainer experience preferred.
• Ability to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must be 21 years+.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team during each shift.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Coach, train, and develop team members.
• Assign and monitor opening, mid-shift, and closing duties.
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Monitor labor, food costs, and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cash handling.
• Conduct daily shift huddles and communicate goals clearly.
• Support all restaurant positions as business needs require.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment.

What You’ll Do
