Urbane Cafe in Encinitas, CA is seeking an energetic Shift Leader to help deliver exceptional guest experiences and lead a dynamic team on the floor.

You will mentor staff, ensure smooth daily operations, and uphold Urbane Cafe’s friendly, high‑quality service standard while working in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay with tips and growth opportunities await the right candidate.

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
