Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance on building systems, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with other departments to maintain service levels. This role requires some college or vocational training and at least two years in maintenance or construction.

Qualifications

• Some college or advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction.
• Hotel maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Professional certification and license if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work assignments to ensure timely and quality completion; monitor performance and enforce policies.
• Perform maintenance and repair on building interiors, rooms, equipment, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance per program (HoliKare, CrowneKare, SuiteKare, etc.).
• Enforce security of inventory and replenish supplies efficiently to minimize waste.
• Educate/train staff on safety issues and regulatory compliance; inform management of hazards.
• Ensure equipment is prepared and operational for the next day’s work.
• Respond to guest questions and requests to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments for service quality.
• May assist with other duties; may serve as Manager of Duty as required.
