Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Shift Engineering Manager to lead maintenance for automated storage and retrieval systems at the customer site. You will manage a team, handle electro-mechanical fault resolution, and coordinate with the On-Site Operations Team to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, weekend work, and travel as needed. You will be a key part of KNAPP's Maintenance Leadership Team, driving performance and safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a shift maintenance team.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and system support for automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate safety-first repairs.
• Diagnose and fix electro-mechanical faults and PLC issues.
• Maintain detailed communication with customer and KNAPP leadership.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of activities.
• Uphold safety procedures and quality standards at the site.
