Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Shift Engineering Manager to join the site maintenance leadership team in the United States. You will lead a team to maximize equipment utilization and provide electrical and mechanical expertise across automated systems, including conveyors and storage/retrieval equipment.

You will manage operations, respond to emergencies, and drive safety and timely repairs while collaborating with the customer’s operations team to meet contractual performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance and automation teams on industrial sites.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance and system support teams.
• Manage O&M of automated storage/retrieval and conveyors at the site.
• Respond to emergencies with safe, timely repairs and planning.
• Ensure safety culture and adherence to contractual performance metrics.
• Coordinate with On-Site Operations and customer leadership on progress.
