Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Shift Charge Nurse for the 7:00pm–7:30am shift with rotating weekends and on-call. This role provides clinical and administrative leadership on the shift, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, within the Mass General Brigham system.

Requirements include RN license in Massachusetts, BLS, and at least three years of current clinical experience. A Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred, and the role sits within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of current experience in a relevant clinical specialty required.
• Current experience must be within two years of hire into the Shift Charge position required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership on her/his shift.
• Act within policies and procedures and report to Nurse Manager/Director.
• Participate as part of Mass General Brigham Nursing leadership on the unit.

Job Summary

Shift: 7:00pm - 7:30am; schedule includes rotating weekends, holidays and on-call. The Shift Charge Nurse has authority, responsibility, and accountability to provide clinical and administrative leadership on her/his shift. This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
