Job summary

The 1910 Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 7:00pm–7:30am shift with rotating weekends and holidays. You will deliver patient care via the nursing process, coordinate care across disciplines, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a collaborative hospital setting.

Massachusetts licensure (RN) and BLS certification are required. Med/Surg experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills essential for success within the Nursing Unit.

Job Summary

Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:30am, includes rotating weekends and holidays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required Basic Life Support [BLS] certification required

Experience Med/Surg experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required. Additional unit-specific education and experience requirements are outlined in the Addendum for each unit.
