1910 Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care across Medical/Surgical Units, ED, Critical Care, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center.

Shifts are 24–36 hours weekly, 7pm–7am, with flexible department assignments as needed. The RN will follow nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director within the Mass General Brigham

• Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

• Licenses and Credentials RN Massachusetts; BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months; De-escalation training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Coordinate and direct nursing care across Medical/Surgical Units, ED, ICU, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center.
• Work with Nurse Manager/Director and follow organizational policies and procedures.

Job Summary

24 - 36 hours- 7pm-7am The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Performs duties in the following areas: Medical/Surgical Units, Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center. Must be able and willing to work in all departments as needed and directed.

This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Qualifications and Experience
