Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises is hiring a Shift Manager for our KFC and Taco Bell sites in Connelly Springs, NC. You will captain the restaurant during your shift, supervise staff, handle customer inquiries, and ensure smooth operations and high service standards.

You will lead a team, promote a positive work environment, manage cash handling and shift reporting, oversee inventory, training, and food safety, and help promote new menu items to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shift: oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff and customer inquiries.
• Team Leadership: motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Customer Service: interact with customers, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Food Safety: maintain high food safety standards and monitor preparation and storage.
• Cash Handling: manage cash registers, process payments, and keep records.
• Inventory Management: track inventory, order supplies, and rotate stock.
• Shift Reports: prepare shift reports including sales and labor costs.
• Training: train new team members on policies and service standards.
• Problem-Solving: handle unexpected situations and resolve conflicts quickly.
• Cleanliness: keep the restaurant clean and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and Specials: assist in promoting new items and deals to drive sales.
