Job summary

Paradox Brewery in North Hudson, NY is seeking a Shift Brewer to participate in all aspects of brewing and cellar operations. The role starts around $23/hour with health insurance matching at 50% and requires forklift capability. Hours are 35–40+ per week with potential overtime as production allows.

You will progress from cellar operations to transfers/filtration and finally brew house duties, gaining proficiency across all brewing functions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift capability is a requirement.
• Willingness to learn multiple brewery operations over time.

Responsibilities

• Full understanding of hot and cold side operations including brewhouse, mill house, water house, transfers, CIP tanks, yeast health, readings, and records.
• Maintain cellar and brewhouse equipment, hoses, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Operate forklift in tight spaces.
• Maintain warehouse and grain, adjunct, and hop organization.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in team meetings.
