Job summary

Paradox Brewery is seeking a hands-on cellar/brew house operator to assist in all aspects of brewing and cellar operations. The role starts in cellar operations with a path to transfers/filtration and eventually brewhouse work, with a goal of becoming proficient across all areas.

Qualifications

• Forklift capability and safe operation required.
• Willingness to learn across cellar, transfers, filtration, and brew house.
• Able to work 35–40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand hot and cold side operations including brew house, mill house, water house, transfers, CIP skids, tanks, yeast handling and readings.
• Maintain cellar and brewhouse equipment including pumps, hoses, heat exchangers and compressors.
• Operate forklift in tight spaces and maintain organizational standards for hoses, fittings and tools.
• Assist Production Team members and participate in team meetings.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support special projects and training to become proficient across all areas of the brew house and cellar.
