The Stronghold Companies is seeking a Document Control Clerk to manage the organization and accuracy of corporate documents. This role involves ensuring timely submissions and performing regular audits to maintain integrity across document records.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably one year of relevant experience, particularly in the petrochemical or refinery sectors. Effective coordination with multiple departments is crucial for success in this position.
The position of Document Control Clerk is responsible for the orderly recording and keeping of physical and electronic documents associated with assigned projects. The clerk will conduct all company business in accordance with company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. The position may require operating in a petrochemical or refinery environment with exposure to cold and hot working conditions, noise requiring hearing protection, and hazardous chemicals requiring respirator use. The employee may need to be fit‑tested for respirators and to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT).
While performing the duties of the job, a Document Control Clerk is occasionally required to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and lift up to 20 pounds.
This is a project‑based position. Typical days and hours of work are variable based on project. Overtime work is common and may be required as job duties demand.
Travel is expected. Extensive travel throughout the U.S. and overnight stays for extended periods of time.
