Job summary

Bowman in Houston is seeking a Document Control Coordinator III (Oil & Gas) to support project teams with document control, retention, and reporting. You will manage master document systems, ensure version control, and distribute records to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, strong English communication, MS Office skills, and familiarity with engineering docs. Omega 365 PIMS R4 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Two to four (2-4) years of experience.
  • Understanding engineering and construction projects, nomenclature, and document numbering conventions.
  • Current Omega 365 PIMS R4 document control software experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and English (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in development and implementation of the document management system.
  • Maintain the master document management system with accurate data entry and timely reviews.
  • Ensure project documentation/version control and distribution to stakeholders.
  • Work with project members to keep records complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Maintain lists, logs, matrices, and tracking systems related to documents.
  • Assist with management of change execution and status reporting.
  • Facilitate project job books development and turnover to clients.
  • Assist with project close-out activities.

Purpose

Provide technical and non-technical support to all activities in respect to document control, document retention, and document reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the document management system and assist with preparation and review of Document Control processes and procedures.

  • Ensure project documentation/version control and accurate and timely distribution/transmission to project stakeholders.
  • Work with project team members to ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with project and company document creation, control, retention, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain lists, logs, matrices, and tracking system related to documents and records.
  • Assist with management of change execution and status reporting.
  • Facilitate project job books development and turnover to clients.
  • Assist with project close-out activities.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • Two to four (2-4) years of experience.
  • Understanding engineering and construction projects, nomenclature, and associated document numbering conventions.
  • Current Omega 365 PIMS R4 document control software experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • High level of personal integrity, creativity, persistence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter, possess strong analytical skills, and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
