Job summary

Responsibilities include following shelter guidelines, assisting with meals and hygiene supplies, ensuring safety, and supporting clients as they work toward stability daily.

Responsibilities

• Build respectful, empowering relationships with shelter clients.
• Help foster a healthy culture of respect, empowerment, and community where the men move toward stability.
• Communicate necessary guest information to day staff to keep them informed.
• Follow and enforce Shelter Guidelines, Policies, and Procedures with Shelter Guests.
• Support and assist guests with shelter needs (questions, concerns, hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies, bedding, food, etc.).
• Maintain safety and security of shelter property and report concerns to supervisor or on-call.
• Work with clients to maintain grounds, cleaning schedules, and other chores.
• Assist with meals, following food safety protocols.
