The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a dedicated shelter worker to supervise and assist residents, handle intake interviews, and coordinate with case managers. You will help maintain a safe, clean shelter environment and support food service and shift documentation. This role offers flexible tasks and meaningful community impact.

Responsabilités

• Conducts intake interviews for new shelter residents.
• Monitors room assignments and distributes basic necessities.
• Provides supervision of shelter and residents, ensuring rules and policies are followed.
• Assist with client needs and refer to case manager as appropriate.
• Provide de-escalation and crisis response.
• Answers telephone calls and takes messages as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelter common areas.
• Assist with food service preparations and serving.
• Ensures shift is documented according to procedures.
• Performs room inspections.
• Supervises volunteers when assigned.
