Heading Home is seeking a Social Services Assistant I to support shelter residents with daily needs and coordinate services. Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shelter services and assist residents with day-to-day needs.
• Assist in transportation coordination as needed.
• Direct new residents to assigned spaces and provide shelter orientation.
• Maintain resident counts and documentation accurately.
• Communicate with supervisor and other staff regularly.
• Perform daily check-ins and room/bed checks.
• Enforce policies and procedures and liaise for food delivery.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team duties.
