Endeavors Inc. is seeking a Shelter Monitor to oversee residents and ensure compliance with program rules. The role requires maintaining a safe, structured environment, documenting events, and supporting staff and volunteers while upholding policy guidelines.

You will address resident needs, apply behavioral management techniques, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain safety, sanitation, and service quality across the shelter. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience working with low-income/at-risk/homeless individuals or vulnerable populations.
• Driver’s license with a clear record.
• Must have daily use of a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, structured environment for residents.
• Maintain accurate written incident reports and logs.
• Consult with supervisor on residents’ needs and behaviors.
• Utilize positive behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor shelter areas for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Respond to residents’ requests, complaints, and inquiries.
• Brief volunteers and staff; provide direction and assistance as needed.
