Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Residential Coordinator for the Senior Women’s Shelter (SWS). The role oversees the 24-hour shelter, supports 28 residents, and works with the Residential Case Manager to ensure housing stability and access to services within VOAC’s multifaceted program.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent human services experience, plus one year of direct service work.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• One-year direct human service experience.
• Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator, and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Residential Shelter during shift and oversee 28 residents.
• Coordinate housing stability and support services with the Residential Case Manager.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and program data entry/maintenance.
• Develop specialty areas in housing, employment, legal services, benefits, or others as indicated by program needs.
• Provide life skills classes and support for residents.
