Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator for the Lakewood Navigation Center in Denver. The role oversees residential operations during shifts, ensuring safety, engagement, and essential services for guests experiencing homelessness.

Experience in human services and strong organizational skills are required. The position involves on-site work, on-call rotations, and collaboration with teams to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• One year direct human service experience.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests into shelter and process intake paperwork.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and wellbeing of the facility.
• Coordinate resident activities and engagement.
• Document client interactions and demographics in HMIS/ServicePoint.
• Assist with shift scheduling and staff meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and support onboarding.
