Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator for the Lakewood Navigation Center. The role oversees residential operations during shifts, ensures safety, manages guest needs, and coordinates activities within a 24/7 shelter for up to 103 individuals.

Responsibilities include intake processing, paperwork, and data entry in ServicePoint/HMIS. The position emphasizes trauma-informed care, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration across housing and legal services teams.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• One year direct human service experience.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests into shelter and process intake.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and wellbeing of the facility.
• Coordinate resident activities and engagement; manage client files and data entry in systems such as ServicePoint/HMIS.
• Support program goals through housing, employment, legal services, or benefits navigation.
