Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore's Sarah’s House seeks a Program Assistant to support guests, maintain safety, and assist with daily housing services. The position is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM (40 hours/week) with a pay rate of $16.75 per hour.

Responsibilities include client assistance, incident reporting, and coordination of meals, transportation, and activities in Anne Arundel County. Experience with homeless services preferred; CPR/First Aid and ServSafe within six months; valid driver’s

Qualifications

Must be CPR and/or First Aid certified within six months of employment.
ServSafe certification required within six months.
Minimum one year of related experience with homeless populations.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, secure environment for clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Monitor policies, report incidents, write violations, and respond to emergencies.
Engage with clients and volunteers in a respectful, trauma-informed manner.
Maintain logs and records of program activities accurately.
Ensure residents know their rights and the grievance process.
Support transportation and daily operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
