Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a part-time Animal Photographer to support weekend coverage at the Papago Park Campus. You will transport pets to the studio, shoot and edit portraits of adoptable dogs, cats, and occasional small animals, and upload images to our shelter software.

Collaborate with teammates across three campuses, assist volunteers in the studio, and help document fundraising events. A strong portfolio and shelter-friendly attitude are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional or significant amateur photography experience.
• Strong photo editing skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and similar tools.
• Portfolio or Work Samples required: Applicants must provide a link to a portfolio or submit samples of their work.
• Comfortable working with animals and learning shelter operations and related software.

Responsibilities

• Transport pets from kennels to the studio and photograph portraits.
• Edit portraits and upload them into our shelter software.
• Collaborate with teammates across three campuses to manage pet flow and records.
• Assist volunteers in the studio and document fundraising events on-site.
