Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern Territory is hiring for two overnight shelter positions. You will assist residents staying in the Corps shelter, handle intake procedures, and maintain accurate records. The role requires vigilance to safety, adherence to house rules, and reliable data entry into computer systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and preferred security or social service experience. Certifications such as CPR/First Aid and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience performing security or social service work preferred.
• Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License preferred; Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain; CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building security during assigned shift and report to supervisor.
• Take part in resident intake and discharge procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Manage housekeeping and chore distribution while ensuring safety and policy compliance.
