Job summary

Mercy House is seeking a Senior Site Lead to oversee guest intake, logistics and daily shelter operations in its Emergency Shelter Program in Orange County. You will manage shelter activities, coordinate volunteers, maintain supplies, and assist with crisis intervention while ensuring a client-centered, trauma-informed environment.

The role requires coordinating staff, participating in meetings and events, and supporting staff with duties to maintain a safe and effective shelter.

Qualifications

• Crisis intervention as needed
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize duties
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Experience working with diverse populations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee shelter activities including guest intake, logistics and daily shelter operations
• Coordinate volunteers and support services
• Manage supplies and facility needs
• Provide crisis/conflict intervention and report issues to Program Manager
• Assist with staff meetings, training and general duties
• Support staff and coordinate special events and housing discussions
