Job summary

The SAFE Alliance is seeking a Community Shelter Basic Needs & Food Services Coordinator (Grove Campus) to support the Residential & Support Services program. This role handles logistics, transports supplies, coordinates with residents and staff, and helps ensure basic needs resources are accessible and well distributed.

Based at Grove Blvd Campus in East Austin, this full-time, non-remote position involves travel between campuses and requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Transport supplies and support operations across multiple shelter locations.
• Coordinate with residents and staff; supervise volunteers.
• Assist with warehouse and in-kind giving activities; ensure resources are accessible and well distributed.
