SAFE Alliance serves survivors of abuse and operates multiple shelters in the Austin area. The Community Shelter Basic Needs and Food Services Coordinator (Grove Campus) supports operations across locations by transporting supplies, coordinating with residents and staff, supervising volunteers, and aiding warehouse and in-kind giving efforts.
The role is full-time, non-exempt, based at Grove Blvd. Campus in East Austin, with some travel between campuses and no remote work.
Community Shelter Basic Needs &Food Services Coordinator(Grove Campus)
SAFE Alliance seeks a Basic Needs &Food Services Coordinatorfor the Residential & Support Services program in the Basic Needs, In-Kind &Warehouse department. This role supports operations across multiple shelter locations by transporting supplies, coordinating with residents and staff, supervising volunteers, and assisting with warehouse and in-kind giving activities as needed. The position combines direct service, logistics, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure basic needs resources are accessible, organized, and effectively distributed.

We are looking for one person to work on a full-time, non-exempt basis for an hourly salary of $21.00 to $23.00 dependent upon experience. The work location will be based at Grove Blvd. Campus in the East Austin area in addition to operating out ofall major SAFE Alliance Campuses in the Austin metroplex. This position will include some travel in the community or between campuses with no ability for remote/hybrid work. The shift currently available is Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
