Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in culinary roles with supervisory experience, ServSafe certification, and a commitment to nonprofit food service. This is a full-time, on-site role in Naples, FL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional culinary experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in food service.
• Experience in large-volume meal production or institutional kitchens preferred.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required or obtainable within 90 days.
• Florida driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily meal production and service for shelter residents.
• Ensure meals follow recipes, nutritional guidelines, and production schedules.
• Lead kitchen staff, culinary trainees, volunteers, and program participants; provide training.
• Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage for meal production and service.
• Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations (ServSafe).
• Maintain inventory, assist with orders, donations, and cost-control initiatives.
• Lead daily operations as manager-on-duty and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
