Job summary

SEMCOA's Taunton Family Center in Taunton, MA seeks a Family Support Associate to provide compassionate, confidential support to families in crisis, ensure safety, and assist with housing stability programs.

You will complete documentation, maintain a therapeutic environment, participate in trainings, and collaborate with supervisors. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in behavioral health is preferred; per diem status may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year of experience in substance use or behavioral health is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the milieu and observe patients at all times to ensure safety.
• Enter findings into the EHR at a minimum hourly.
• Maintain a clean, therapeutic environment and restock supplies as needed.
• Attend supervision with supervisor twice monthly and mandatory meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide families with informational resources about surrounding area.
• Complete admission/discharge documentation and ensure proper program records.
