Job summary

SEMCOA’s Taunton Family Center is seeking a Family Support Associate to provide compassionate support to homeless families and individuals in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will ensure confidentiality, assist with admissions, and maintain thorough documentation in the EHR while adhering to program policies and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle confidential information.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing; work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge documentation and orientation for families.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment through hourly patient status notes.
• Perform routine facility checks and monitor alarms and locks during shifts.
• Complete incident/environmental reports and document in the EHR as required.
• Attend supervision with supervisor and mandatory meetings as scheduled.
