The Salvation Army Bell Shelter in Bell, CA seeks a Client Ambassador to provide courteous front desk service, explain facility rules, and help residents access shelter programs. You will monitor safety, handle incident reports, and coordinate with case managers and staff to maintain a respectful, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, medication monitoring support, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness/vulnerable populations.
• If in recovery, 2 years of sobriety.
• CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained prior to employment and annually thereafter.
• TB clearance prior to hire and annually thereafter.
• Understand and support The Salvation Army mission.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional, respectful, and responsive support to participants and visitors.
• Monitor the front desk and respond to participant requests, questions, and needs.
• Assist participants with shelter services, resources, and daily operations.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and participant records; prepare incident reports.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; conduct rounds and monitor activities; de-escalate when needed.
• Communicate concerns and information to supervisors and program staff during shift passes.
