Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Client Ambassador to oversee residents in a shelter setting, handling check-ins and discharges and reporting residents’ conditions to the Program Manager and Case Manager. You will support staff with documentation and follow-ups and ensure a respectful, secure environment.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, valid California driver’s license, and willingness to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; AA/BA preferred.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License (Class C).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Background check required for employment.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate care for residents and maintain a safe environment.
• Check in and discharge residents; document and report on residents' conditions.
• Enter and update HMIS data; complete intake forms and daily logs.
