Frederick County Government's Frederick County Division of Animal Control is seeking an entry-level Kennel Technician I. The role supports daily animal care, safety, and welfare at the county shelter, working under supervision with established protocols.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age at time of application
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Feed and care for animals daily according to policy
• Monitor health and behavior and report concerns
• Clean and sanitize kennels and supplies
• Assist with intake, enrichment, and adoption preparation
• Interact with the public and support adoption readiness
• Perform humane euthanasia
