Transition Projects, Inc. is hiring a Residential Advocate for Clark Center Shelter in Portland, OR. The role is full-time, non-exempt, and union represented with a wage of $24.50 per hour and a 32-hour work week, including a language differential of 5%.

Responsibilities include supervising shelter activities, providing advocacy and referrals, and maintaining records. Qualifications include 2 years of work experience and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualificações

• 2 years of consistent work experience (any field).
• Understanding of homelessness, chemical dependency, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise shelter activities to ensure participant safety.
• Maintain knowledge of agency programs, services, and community resources.
• Provide advocacy, information, and referral services to participants.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of the facility; perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure consistent delivery of services.
• Maintain participant records and logs, both manually and online.
