Transition Projects, Inc. is hiring a Residential Advocate for the Clark Center Shelter in Portland, OR.

The role entails supervising shelter activities, providing advocacy and referrals, and coordinating with staff to support participants in a 11:30pm–7:30am Sunday-Thursday shift. The position is full-time, non-exempt, union-represented, with benefits eligible and wage of $24.50 hourly plus $1.00 grave shift differential and a 5% language differential.

Qualificações

• 2 years of consistent work experience in any field.
• Demonstrated understanding of homelessness and related issues.
• Ability to work independently and assess situations.
• Written and verbal communication skills; good computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advocacy, information, and referral services to participants.
• Oversee shelter activities to ensure safety of participants.
• Maintain knowledge of agency programs and community resources.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility, perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with agency staff to ensure consistent service delivery.

Conhecimentos

Bilingual English/Spanish
