Vallarta Supermarkets in Duarte, CA is seeking a dedicated Assistant Shelf Edge Coordinator to support daily shelf edge operations, pricing accuracy, and signage integrity. You will help manage planograms, updates, audits, and product labeling while training team members to uphold high service standards.

The role requires at least 6 months of retail or supermarket experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with basic Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months retail or supermarket experience.
• Shelf edge, pricing or signage experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers and team members while delivering extraordinary service.

• Support execution of shelf edge programs, including price changes, promotional signage, and weekly updates.
• Assist with ordering and creating shelf tags to maintain accurate pricing across all departments.
• Verify displayed items are accurately priced and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with Country-of-Origin Labeling (COOL) and WIC identification requirements.
• Confirm that sales and promotional changes are reflected in tags and signage.
• Support planogram audits and ensure products are properly labeled and placed.
• Conduct expiration date audits and rotate products as needed.
