Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Grocery Day Stocker in a fast-paced environment. You will transport, stock, and display groceries, and prepare customer orders for curbside pickup with accuracy and care.

You’ll greet customers, follow safety standards, and help with inventory and merchandising while delivering friendly service in a team-oriented store. Flexibility for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn grocery products and store layout.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to operate dollies, pallet jacks, ladders, and box cutters safely.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to stocking and transactions.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fast-paced grocery setting with direct customer interaction.
• Exposure to perishable products, cold storage, dust, and changing conditions.
• Collaborative, team-focused workplace.
• Must work flexible schedule: afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers and team members; deliver extraordinary service.

• Select, scan, and pack customer orders for curbside pickup.
• Notify supervisors of inventory levels to minimize stockouts.
• Pack and bag groceries according to procedures.
• Transport, stock, and rotate grocery products on shelves.
