Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets in Duarte, CA seeks a Stock Crew Manager to oversee stockers and maintain merchandising standards in the Grocery Department. You will support the Grocery Manager to achieve sales, gross profit, and labor goals while upholding Vallarta’s values of service, integrity and teamwork.

You will greet customers, manage inventories, follow planograms, conduct inventories, and supervise staff ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year grocery experience and 1 year of management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of merchandising, inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and team, modeling exceptional service and teamwork.
• Oversee stockers, maintain planograms and ensure price integrity.
• Manage inventories, shrink control, and reporting of variances.
• Supervise staff, safety, training, and adherence to policy.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising displays.
