Job summary

ConServ Building Services, LLC is hiring Sheetmetal Mechanics in the Venice, FL area. You will install duct systems including spiral, galvanized and rectangular ducts, while reading blueprints and working with various materials.

A strong focus on safety and accuracy is required. Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of commercial duct experience, perform high-quality installations with hand and power tools, and understand schematic diagrams.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in commercial duct installation.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong focus on job-site safety and compliance.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all styles of ductwork (spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, SnD, etc.).
• General knowledge of piping, controls, AC install and retrofit.
• Work with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials.
• Measure and cut sheet metal; install preassembled duct.
• Interpret blueprints and complete layouts as needed.
• Mark dimensions with scribers, dividers, and squares.
• Inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specs.

What you will be doing:
