Job summary

ConServ Building Services, LLC in Tampa, FL is hiring a Lead Installer to advance HVAC projects from installation through startup. The role requires 10+ years of field experience, EPA certification, and strong knowledge of installation practices, piping, and controls.

A take-home vehicle, benefits, and growth pathways are offered. You will install RTUs, perform full system change-outs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HVAC field experience (commercial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of installation practices, system design, and controls.
• Proven experience with refrigeration piping and brazing.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems independently.
• EPA Certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, and specialty systems.
• Execute full system change-outs from demolition to final startup.
• Install and fabricate refrigeration piping systems (copper, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation).
• Install, troubleshoot, and integrate HVAC controls (thermostats, VAV systems, BAS interfaces).
• Perform system startup, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure project success.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What you need for this position

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Experience in clean rooms, air balancing, and commissioning
