Job summary

ConServ Building Services, LLC is hiring an HVACR Installer in Altamonte Springs, FL. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HVAC experience and EPA certification, with strong knowledge of local mechanical codes and safety standards. You will read drawings, estimate pricing, lay out ductwork, install sheet metal, and coordinate with other trades.

A clean driving record and background check are required. You will work on installations with a take-home company vehicle, sign-on bonuses, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade.
• EPA certification is required.
• OSHA safety regulations knowledge is expected.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and on-site drug test.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes and equipment submittals.
• Estimate job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job.
• Layout ductwork for install and coordination with other trades.
• Install sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers and air devices.
• Measure and draw sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered.
• Hang/set exhaust fans, louvers, units and other mechanical equipment.
• Hang copper, PVC and piping hangers for refrigerant and CHW piping.
• Insulate ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap.
• Perform low voltage control wiring for thermostats and dampers.
• Braze copper and assist startup of equipment.
• Document work progress via company tablet.

• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices


• Copper brazing and equipment startup


• Daily communication of work completed through company tablet

What you need for this position:

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade


• Must have EPA certification


• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations


• Able to work independently


• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test


• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
