Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal for the Operations department. The role involves operating brake presses, lasers, punch presses, and other metalworking equipment on the 3rd shift to supply parts for upstream departments.

You will read blueprints, measure parts with rulers, calipers, and gauges, follow written and verbal instructions, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure quality and safety in production.

Qualifications

• Reads rulers and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares).
• Reads and interprets blueprints and work orders.
• Reads and follows written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operate sheet metal equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring).
• Fill part requirements to complete rounds for kitting.
• Read rulers, tape measures, squares, angle finders and other measuring tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Ensure finished parts meet specifications and verify dimensions.
