Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Keosauqua, Iowa is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal. You will set up and operate sheet metal equipment to cut, bend, and finish parts for upstream departments, while reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Candidates should be proficient with measuring tools, follow written and verbal instructions, and work across multiple stations as production demands. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with measuring tools (rulers, calipers) preferred.
• Ability to operate sheet metal equipment safely.
• Able to work in a team and follow procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate sheet metal equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring machines) to meet part requirements.
• Read rulers, tapes, calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and blueprints to produce parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety requirements.
