Digital Room in Arlington, TX is hiring for a General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) position. The role involves assisting the Sheeter Operator, inspecting quality, staging rolls, operating forklift to load rolls, and helping maintain production flow.

Requires teamwork, basic computer skills, ability to stand 8 hours, and the potential for overtime. The pay is $14.00 per hour, with full-time hours on 1st shift 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday-Friday, in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be teamwork oriented.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to operate in a safe and productive manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand a minimum of 8 hours and work occasional overtime as requested.
• Ability to receive forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Sheeter Operator in inspecting the machine and checking items produced for proper quality specifications.
• Staging rolls and completed pallets.
• Helping ensure efficiencies, running speeds, and down time are within specified limits. Assisting in troubleshooting to enhance production.
• Driving of a clamp truck and forklift to load rolls and put up paper once sheeted. Learning all paper grades run on this machine.
• Assist in charting all daily production and any problems that may occur.
• Organizing process area to perform basic maintenance as required.
• Placing the recycled scrap in bins.
