Digital Room in Arlington, TX is hiring for a General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) on 1st shift, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, Monday–Friday. The role supports the Sheeter Operator and inspects items to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include staging rolls, operating a clamp truck and forklift, logging daily production, and assisting with basic maintenance. Teamwork, basic computer skills, safety, and forklift certification are valued.

Job description

We are actively hiring for the position of General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) for our plant in Arlington, TX.

Shift

1st shift 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Monday-Friday

Pay

$14.00

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting the Sheeter Operator in inspecting the machine and checking items produced for proper quality specifications.
• Staging rolls and completed pallets.
• Helping ensure efficiencies, running speeds, and down time are within specified limits. Assisting in troubleshooting to enhance production.
• Driving of a clamp truck and forklift to load rolls and put up paper once sheeted. Learning all paper grades run on this machine.
• Assist in charting all daily production and any problems that may occur.
• Organizing process area to perform basic maintenance as required.
• Placing the recycled scrap in bins.

Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned

Qualification

• Must be teamwork oriented.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to operate in a safe and productive manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand a minimum of 8 hours and work occasional overtime as requested.
• Ability to receive forklift certification.
