Job summary

Southern Champion Tray seeks a Sheeter Operator for 2nd shift at the Mansfield, TX plant. You will set up and operate the sheeter to achieve target speeds and quality.

Responsibilities include reading scales, adjusting knife settings, feeding rolls, maintaining safety, and keeping the area clean per 5S guidelines.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and forklift certification; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical ability are needed.
• Able to read and understand English; communicate directions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the machine to achieve the target speed for each run.
• Maintain procedures related to operation and ensure safety.
• Read scales and determine knife settings; load rolls and monitor sheet quality.
• Ensure pallets are labeled, identified, and entered into the production system.
• Troubleshoot and assist in machine maintenance and cleaning.
