Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a Pressroom Feeder Technician for our sheetfed offset printing operations. This role focuses on feeder setup, paper handling, and hands-on press support during setups, changeovers, and live production.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in printing or manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely. Expect a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in printing or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials by reviewing the daily production schedule.
• Verify paper stock via load tags and job specs before loading.
• Unload, position, and feed paper into sheetfed offset equipment.
• Adjust feeder systems: double-sheet detectors, pressures, and guides.
• Watch paper flow and feeder performance; respond quickly to issues.
• Assist the Pressman during setups, changeovers, and live production.
• Monitor and maintain ink/water balance during runs.
• Clean blankets and related press components; manage supplies.
• Retrieve, label, and store plates following each job.
• Uphold 5S standards: clean, orderly, and safe press area.
