Heidelberg USA is seeking a Field Service Technician – Sheetfed to install, troubleshoot, repair, and train customers on Heidelberg sheetfed equipment. The role requires strong control systems knowledge, hands-on mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with installation teams and the service desk to complete tasks efficiently.

The position involves approx. 50% travel to customer sites, ongoing documentation, and collaboration with riggers to install and commission new or used equipment.

Formación

• Experience working on printing or similar equipment, Heidelberg equipment preferred.
• Travel about 50% of the time to customer sites.
• 3-5 years of experience working on bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers).
• Mechanical/mechatronics background is preferred.
• Computer/tech savvy and strong customer service skills.
• Regular attendance and timeliness are required.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair, conduct maintenance & train on Sheetfed equipment.
• Install new or used equipment with qualified riggers and support equipment moves.
• Inspect equipment and complete SS36 inspections, documenting with photos for records.
• Prepare and file reports; protect Heidelberg and customer investments; reduce costs where possible.
• Demonstrate service value to customers to generate additional revenue (APS / car stock sales).
